Riot Season Hits St. Louis!

St. Louis Anti-ICE Protests: Demonstrators Rally Against Deportation Policies

In St. Louis, hundreds gathered in downtown and Forest Park to protest against the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement actions, joining a nationwide wave sparked by unrest in Los Angeles. The demonstrations, held on June 11, 2025, focused on opposing mass deportation efforts and the federalization of the National Guard, as reported by KSDK. Local immigration advocates voiced concerns over ICE raids, demanding humane immigration policies and an end to aggressive enforcement tactics.

The protests reflect growing public sentiment, with similar actions in cities like Los Angeles, where thousands rallied against ICE operations. Organizers in St. Louis, as noted by STL Public Radio, emphasized solidarity with affected communities, urging local leaders to protect immigrants’ rights. Social media posts on X highlighted strong community turnout, amplifying the call to resist federal immigration policies.

Protests in St. Louis on Wednesday had a shared message of “ICE out of our communities.”

The “March to Defend Immigrant Rights” in Downtown St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon included numerous concerned community members and local social justice organizations.

Another group of protesters held numerous signs criticizing ICE for cars passing under the Tamm Overpass near Forest Park to read, including local resident Cathy Doyen. She said she felt a need to attend the protest as numerous cars beneath the overpass honked in support
