According to Mike.a.Glover
The Coronavirus is not something that should just be thrown in the gun safe and forgotten. The mortality rate of the coronavirus is 2% which is also as high as the Spanish flu in 1918 to 1919 if the population in the U.S is 330 million people and 50% of those people contract the coronavirus thats 165 million people now if we take 3% if that now we have 3.3 million people dying at a minimum. To say it is just like the common flu is a lie the flue has a .01% mortality rate it may not seem like much but is a great ways away from 2% when we are talking morality rates. Our last flu season there were 45 million were infected, 45 thousand people would have died that flu season replace that with coronavirus you would have 900 thousand people that would die. It is easy to realize how dangerous this can be just by using mortality rates to find death tolls.
Once you contract the virus you do not get a bacterial pneumonia you get viral pneumonia the issue is you cannot counter viral pneumonia with antibiotics like bacteria pneumonia.
