ISIS terror group leaders ‘will meet to appoint successor’

(Express.co.UK)- Leaders of the brutal Islamic State terror regime have reportedly met in secret to discuss who will become their new headman – fuelling rumours that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed.

Although there has not yet been any reports confirming his death, initial reports suggest he died following ongoing fighting in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has received information claiming the terror cell’s tyrannical leaders have been called for an emergency meeting in Iraq.

In October reports surfaced suggesting al-Baghdadi – who has led Daesh since June 2014 – had been taken seriously ill after an assassin poisoned his food.

The brutal warlord released an audio statement last month, urging jihadists to stand their ground as the battle to bring down the terror cell intensifies.
