Residents and Business Owners of Ferguson Allegedly Told “Create an Evacuation Plan or Hunker Down”

DEVELOPING STORY

According to a tweet sent out by the @bellebutters Twitter account just hours ago, Ferguson residents and business owners have been told to “create an evacuation plan or hunker down.” The tweeter said that she initially heard the news on NPR (National Public Radio).

The business is located in the vicinity of West Florissant, just minutes away from the Ground Zero QT gas station that burned down in Ferguson after a candlelit vigil to honor the death of Michael Brown, a teenager who was shot and killed by a Ferguson police officer August 9th of this year.

It is also interesting to note that Governor Jay Nixon was asked about this very issue at UMSL’s presser and chose to ignore the question.

This story has allegedly been CONFIRMED by Devin James, a representative of the city of Ferguson, according to various reports on Twitter.

This is a DEVELOPING story that just broke hours ago, so we will keep you posted on any further developments.
