The Tulsa Oklahoma police department is just one of two agencies in the entire country to be invited to an compete in a once in a lifetime international swat competition taking place in Amman, Jordan. Law enforcement entities from around the globe are sending their best to compete In the event. The Tulsa Police department is looking for anyone who can help make this happen!
The event takes place in April of 2019 and will allow teams from around the world to share their ideas and tactics for handling different scenarios. There are 50 teams in total expected to participate!
The facility in which the event takes place has been hailed as the, “Disney World for Swat” by some. Contained inside the facility is a large shoot-house and aircraft team members will be able to utilize for their training!
The competition will focus on their shooting skills, physical fitness and their problem solving abilities.
According to Captain Eckert the trip will be a 10 day trip 7 of which consist of the competition! They estimate it will cost around $35,000 which includes lodging, airfare, food, and equipment. The department is not going to ask the city for the funding but will rely on donations and fundraising in hopes to allow them the opportunity to compete.

So we are calling out to our law enforcement, swat, and special forces guys to help rais the funds this Swat Team needs to represent the United States at one of the largest swat swat competitions in the world! This will help the SWAT team to develope their skills and be able to apply what they have learned to real life scenarios!
