The sba4 features a a support member for more flexibility and cheek riser for more stability and to improve cheek weld. The QDs have been moved to the front and the mechanism to adjust it has been moved to the back for easier manipulation. The SBA4 still fits an any standard milspec buffer tube so there is no need for a special proprietary tube.
