JACKSON COUNTY, OR — Police in Oregon have arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a chicken.
Joshua Brian Woltmon, 27, was arrested and booked into Jackson County Jail this week on charges of sexual assault of an animal, public indecency, menacing, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
According to court documents, Woltmon “unlawfully and for the purpose of arousing and gratifying the sexual desire of a person [touched or contacted] the sex organs of a chicken.” They continue that Woltman exposed himself and came into contact with the genitals of the chicken.
Woltmon, who police say threatened another man with sharp sticks during the incident, was also booked on a probation violation for meth possession.
He was sent to Jackson County Jail, and his bail was set at $20,500.
Back in 2014, in a guardianship case, Woltman was described as functioning at the level of a seven-year-old, suffering from bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and unable to make informed decisions, according to The Oregonian.
