After social media posts related to Incels were uncovered by the FBI has resulted in the military to release warnings for potential mass shooters at the Warner Bros film Joker.
According to the Nationalpost the U.S. military sent a memo to service members on Sept. 18, alerting them to “incel extremist” chatter online about replicating the 2012 Aurora shooting at nationwide screenings of the upcoming Warner Bros. film Joker.
“When entering theaters, identify two escape routes, remain aware of your surroundings, and remember the phrase ‘run, hide, fight,’” Gizmodo reported the email saying. “Run if you can. If you’re stuck, hide (also referred to as ‘sheltering in place’), and stay quiet. If a shooter finds you, fight with whatever you can.”
The memo describes incels — individuals who self-identify as “involuntary celibates” — as people “who who express frustration from perceived disadvantages to starting intimate relationships. Incel extremists idolize violent individuals like the Aurora movie theater shooter.”
In 2012, *shooters name redacted* opened fire in a Colorado movie theatre and killed 12 people, wounding 70 others, who…
In a separate instance, an unconfirmed leaked memo at Hurlburt Field, an Air Force installation in Florida, laid out a somewhat satirical, yet realistic, threat matrix for “How Not To Die During Joker.” according to Funker530
The memo took humorous shots at the “incel” crowd while providing actual useful information on how to identify and avoid possible dangerous or violent situations.
The memo, which was stamped FOUO (For Official Use Only), stated things like, “This Joker movie is going to be like a siren call to the chan-dwelling, MRA, incel crowd,” and gave survival pointers like “DO NOT BRING YOUR GIRLFRIEND: …clowncels will see you have a successful relationship and will want to murder you on the spot.”
While the satirical nature of the Hurlburt memo makes it come off as a joke, serious topics are often easier addressed and received when masked with humor.
Seriously do we even have to say it? Carry everywhere, carry everyday. There is absolutely not a single reason you should NOT be carrying if you have your permit or live in a state that has constitutional carry.
