However, when Joe Biden’s son, who has struggled with addiction issues, left a laptop at a repair shop, it shed new light on political influence peddling schemes that are both illicit and illegal.
Biden family has become experts at using their political power to enrich themselves, with everyone from Joe Biden’s son Hunter, who has struggled with addiction issues, to his brother James, allegedly involved in these schemes. The Biden family has used Joe Biden’s position as a Senator and later as Vice President to accumulate billions of dollars in wealth through corrupt practices. This is the largest financial fraud in American history.

Recently, the news outlet DailyMail.com obtained an affidavit related to a dispute between a construction company and Hill International, in which three law firms were hired to help recover almost $140 million reportedly controlled by the Saudi government. The funds were intended for a desalination plant built by a subsidiary of Hill in the 1980s.
The affidavit suggests that James Biden received millions of dollars as a defense against the Saudis failing to fulfill their obligations. According to lawyer Thomas Lankford, Hill International CEO Irvin Richter had informed James Biden that he had hired him because the Saudis “would not dare to cheat the brother of the Vice President who would be important to the deal.”
However, it is doubtful that the Biden family’s alleged corruption will be punished. Unfortunately, too often when elected officials are found guilty of wrongdoing, nothing happens. It is also unlikely that the Department of Justice, which is controlled by the Biden administration, will pursue charges against his family members. Nonetheless, there is a glimmer of hope.
Many Americans understand that investigations take time, often spanning several years. President Biden has just two years left in office, and there is a growing possibility that he will not win the Democratic Party’s nomination for a second term. Americans hope that this will come true.
However, there is also a good chance that Republicans will regain control of the Senate, and the White House, and maintain their majority in the House of Representatives. This could be bad news for the Biden family’s alleged influence-peddling schemes. The combination of investigations and congressional oversight could prompt an honest Department of Justice to file charges.
Wouldn’t it be refreshing to see corrupt politicians held accountable for their crimes in Washington, D.C.? Someone who traded their country’s interests for money would receive a long prison sentence. Americans might finally see a ray of hope on the horizon.
