Horror on the Streets of NYC: Woman Taken by Force off the Street

Another day, another violent crime in the New York City of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Democrats recently had a temper tantrum when the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing in New York City to investigate how Bragg’s pro-crime, anti-victim policies have exacerbated violent crime and created a hazardous community for people.

Several victims sobbed as they described how Bragg’s pro-criminal attitudes contributed to their anguish.

We now know that a shocking surveillance film shows a vulnerable woman being snatched straight off a Brooklyn street and carried away in a minivan.

According to the New York Post, the incident occurred Friday at 1:45 a.m. at the junction of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue in Gravesend.

The images show the man approaching the woman with his arms outstretched before grabbing her and hauling her away.

The woman was transferred inside a late-model Toyota minivan before the car raced northward on Stillwell Avenue, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD).

NYPD is uncertain whether the woman knew her attacker, but one high-ranking police source said she was not struggling like they would expect if the attacker was complete stranger.

“She didn’t appear to be struggling like you would if it was a stranger,” the source told the New York Post.

“It’s kind of a mystery now,” he continued.

The victim was described by the NYPD as a woman in her twenties with a fair complexion and long hair. Her approximate height and weight are 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds, respectively.

The suspect was dressed in a dark shirt, dark jeans, and dark sneakers. He is said to be in his 30s, stands around 5-foot-10, and weighs 175 pounds.

Anyone with information about the incident can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or 1-888-57-PISTA in Spanish. You can also send a tip through the NYPD website or via direct message on Twitter at @NYPDTips.
