Despite a large Secret Service presence, NBC reports that White House staffers continued entering and exiting the building.
It came hours after President Trump gave a joint press conference with Turkish Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The answered questions in the Roosevelt Room after an Oval Office meeting.
Their conference was overshadowed by President Trump’s bombshell admission that he disclosed classified information to Russian officials about the country’s plan to defeat ISIS in Syria.
The information came from a US ally which the administration has not yet identified.
Agents were seen patrolling the area afterwards. Traffic was temporarily halted but has resumed
