Breaking-Possible Officer Shooting in Farber MO

UPDATE 8:06am: The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed a shooting happened overnight in Farber, MO.

Sergeant Scott White says he’s working on a news release on the incident right now. ABC 17 News is expecting more information about the shooting within the next few hours.

ORIGINAL: ABC 17 News is working to confirm a possible shooting in Farber, MO.

Early Friday morning a viewer called ABC 17 News to say there was a possible officer-invovled shooting in Audrain County.

Our ABC 17 News crews called the Audrain County Sheriffs Department for more information. The department was aware of a shooting in the county, but told ABC 17 News the Missouri State Highway Patrol was handling media inquires about it.

ABC 17 News has reached out to the highway patrol for more information, but so far has not heard back.

ABC 17 News is working to find out if officers were involved in the possible shooting, what led up to it, and if anyone was hurt.
