At least one student was injured in a shooting at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to a Facebook post from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department.
The injured student has been taken to a local hospital, Forsyth County spokesperson Christina Howell said in a text message to CNN. All other students are safe, police have reported.
Officials are actively seeking the suspect and have not confirmed any other shootings or injuries, according to police.
