A document alleging President Joe Biden’s involvement in a global family pay-for-play conspiracy is in the FBI’s hands, according to a statement released by Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer on Wednesday.
The then-vice president Biden’s time in the Obama administration is allegedly the subject of an investigation by the head of the House Oversight Committee into the Biden family.
The committee has already linked a number of Biden family members to an alleged plot to steal money from companies in places like China and Ukraine, among others.
Comer and other House Republicans said that Hunter Biden was one of the individuals who profited from the purported plot.
The investigation revealed there was a paid mystery Biden.
In a statement he issued on Wednesday, Comer said FBI Director Christopher Wray had promised to allow the committee access to a document that demonstrates Biden’s involvement.
Despite evading a House subpoena, Wray did suggest that legislators might visit the FBI offices to view the paper in person.
If Wray does not personally present the paper, Comer threatened to find him in criminal contempt of Congress in his statement.
“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,” Comer stated.
He added:
“However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee. While Director Wray — after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena.”
The statement concluded, “If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.”
🚨On my call with FBI Director Wray, the FBI finally confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-VP Joe Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme.
Anything short of producing these documents to @GOPoversight is not in compliance with my subpoena.

NBC News reported FD-1023 “describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions.”
According to Wray, Justice Department guidelines on safeguarding “confidential human source information” bar him from sharing the document.
Additionally, NBC News reported Before the statement was made public on Wednesday afternoon, Comer and Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa spoke on the phone with Wray.
The FBI is “committed to cooperating with the [oversight committee] in good faith,” a bureau representative told NBC News.
