Traitor Bergdahl, Praises Taliban Then Makes Disgusting Claim Against U.S. Military

Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl has some harsh words following his release from the Taliban prison camp. He deserted his post in remote Afghanistan and fell into the hands of the Taliban. And although they were horrible to him, Sgt. Bergdahl claims that it was better with the Taliban terrorists than returning home to the United States. Bergdahl pleaded guilty to desertion charges and also “misbehavior before the enemy.”

And in a recent interview, he told the Sunday Time of London that when he was held captive by the terrorist organization, he knew what to expect from them. But when he returned to the United States, people attacked him for leaving his remote unit in Afghanistan even though they didn’t know the full story.

He said:

“At least the Taliban were honest enough to say, ‘I’m the guy who’s gonna cut your throat.’ Here it could be the guy I pass in the corridor who’s going to sign the paper that sends me away for life.”

Although they tried to get him to sign a deal, prosecutors could not convince Bergdahl to relent. Now that he has been found guilty, he awaits an unknown sentence that will likely be pretty severe.

Back in 2009, Bergdahl walked off a base because he was trying to find other United States soldiers to report wrongdoing he had witnessed within his unit. Within the group, he could not talk to anyone about the horrible things he was witnessing. That’s why he supposedly left – so he could find someone else to speak to about what he saw.

But the Taliban quickly captured the American who was aimlessly walking by himself through Afghanistan. He was held in captivity for several years until then President Obama rescued him in a prisoner swap. But he didn’t show the president much respect for bringing him back to America. Instead he seemed to miss his Taliban overlords.

Although Bergdahl was tortured and held in a tiny cage, he still preferred life with the Taliban than being back in America.

“The cage was suspended off the ground and the bars cut into my feet. That’s why I ended up having permanent nerve damage. After the first winter in the cage, I lost the feeling in my feet.”

Now Bergdahl claims he is “misunderstood” and deserves sympathy rather than derision.

Trump disagrees.

Back when he was running for the presidency, Trump called Bergdahl a “dirty rotten traitor” with far too many “psychological problems” to count and should be executed by firing squad.

Bergdahl had a few choice words to say about Trump.

“He’s a politician, but I know I can’t convince people who say, ‘Just string him up and shoot him.’ So you just move on.”

Recently, a United States airman was found living in Florida after abandoning his post about 40 years ago. He had created a new identity and was living a double life with a wife and kids. Now he has been collected thanks to a Facebook group that helped hunt the deserter down.
