An NYPD officer is in critical condition after being shot while on duty in The Bronx early Wednesday morning, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The female officer, from the 46th Precinct, whose name was not immediately released, was rushed by her fellow officers to St. Barnabus Hospital from the shooting, at East 183rd Street and Morris Avenue, the sources said.
A suspect was fatally shot at the scene, the sources said.
