Beck bites back: The Blaze files countersuit against Tomi Lahren after she accuses former boss of “misconduct”
Tomi Lahren and Glenn Beck’s feud still rages weeks after the infamous appearance on “The View”
The feud between Tomi Lahren and Glenn Beck continues to rage. The conservative pundit is now accusing Beck of “misconduct, which should be exposed for what it is,” the Dallas Morning News reported. What exactly is “it,” though?
There’s no answer to that question as of now — the court filing, submitted by Lahren’s lawyer Monday morning, gives few details regarding what the “misconduct” involves.
The filing comes after Lahren was reportedly fired from her job at the Blaze, Beck’s media empire, for vocalizing her pro-choice stance on “The View.” The suit maintains that the reaction to her TV comments were part of “a public smear campaign” orchestrated to “inflate Beck’s profile, from what has become a mediocre following, all at [Lahren’s] expense.”
Although the Blaze denies that Lahren was fired, the 24-year-old said she has been locked out of her office and email account, and her show has been cancelled. However, she still reportedly receives a salary.
The suit also alleges that the Blaze refuses to give Lahren access to her personal Facebook page, which has over 4.2 million followers. It claims Lahren never gave her “extremely valuable ownership and property rights in either her name or likeness to anyone including” Beck and the Blaze.
