Gun sales continue retreat from record levels seen under Obama
Gun sales were through the roof under Obama’s reign of terror and insanity.
So why are sales dropping at a staggering pace? Probably because the fear of losing the right to bare arms is diminishing. It is no secret that President Trump is a Pro Second Amendment Politician.
Heck, maybe now the prices will drop and I’ll be able to afford the AR-15 I have been drooling over at my local firearm store. Damn “Supply and Demand” business practices. Not to slight the gang at the gun shop, I get it. Business is business. Doesn’t mean I’m dropping 2 Grand on an AR-15 though. But I digress…
The question still is valid though. Will the prices of Ammunition, Firearms, and Parts/Accessories drop with the loss of revenue that Gun Store owners were used to under Emperor Obama?
Only time will tell.
February continued the recent trend of gun-related background checks falling from record levels since former President Obama left office and President Trump was inaugurated.
The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) ran 2,234,817 checks in February, according to FBI documents. That’s a retreat of nearly 400,000 checks from last February.
The slowing but still historically high sales levels come on the heels of the highest year in history for gun sales. The FBI processed more than 27.5 million NICS checks in 2016. That’s millions more than the previous record set in 2015. (Read More)
