National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) to Hold Legal / Use-of-Force Seminar Prior to SHOT Show

Doylestown, Pa. (October 2016) – The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) is pleased to announce that the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is co-sponsoring the NTOA’s one-day (eight-hour) Legal and Use-of-Force Seminar. This special seminar is being held the day before SHOT Show 2017 and is an ideal event to attend for those in the law enforcement community.

Eugene Ramirez of the Los Angeles-based law firm Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester LLP will speak on legal issues as they relate to law enforcement. Sgt. Jamie Borden of the Henderson (NV) Police Department, advanced specialist and senior instructor for the Force Science Institute, will address law enforcement use of force and human dynamics.

This timely and information-filled event will start at 8:00 a.m. in the Chancellor Ballroom of the Embassy Suites, located at 3600 Paradise Road in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Embassy Suites is less than one mile from the Sands Convention Center, making it a convenient location for those who will be attending SHOT Show 2017.
