With all the “civil” unrest we are seeing more and more “tactical” classes popping up. Most of the instructors are SF this, and Navy that, you hope. Don’t get us wrong, there is NOTHING wrong with getting instruction from someone that has been there, but what happens if they aren’t all they say they are? I’m sure you can think of a few scandals with popular places to train involving guys not being all they say they are and charging a bunch of cash, sometimes over $700 for 1 day of instruction, and you have to get to the instructor, they don’t come to you. For the Civilian, it’s hard to find, get into, and then pay for these elite classes. I don’t know alot of guys that can afford a Costa class, which is about $759 plus flight, plus lodging, plus food.
However there is an alternative to all this. In Columbia, MO for $350 for non members and $300 for members you can get training NEXT month! The Instructors are all vetted, experienced, educators in their field. Classes are 2 days, and cover a vast range of different studies, from 1st responder, to 2 man team tactics, to CQB training. The classes are open to everyone that want to learn.
The company that runs these classes is a world wide organization of like minded individuals called Z.E.R.T. which stands for Zombie Eradication Response Team . 
The organization uses “Zombie” as a metaphor for any natural or man-made disasters that will occur in our lives; Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, criminal attacks, civil unrest, or any type of situation where being prepared, trained and most importantly, armed with the proper mindset is required to see you and your family through to safety. Z.E.R.T. was officially launched in Las Vegas, November 2011 and now has 25,000+ members in 41 different countries!

2-Man Team Tactics & Vehicle Tactics
- Day 1 – Designed around combat communication and movement while operating in 2-man teams. Break contact drills, Peeling techniques, and counter assault tactics. You will be teamed up and run in 2-man elements for the entire duration of this course.
- Day 2 – This event has been designed by operators currently working in a non-permissive environment operating in covert teams from a multi-vehicle setting. This course will cover full vehicle operations to include vehicle setup, planning and executing counter ambush drills from the vehicle.

- Date: October 1st & 2nd 2016
- Time: 9am – 5pm on Saturday 9am – 4pm on Sunday

Z.E.R.T.’s Cadre is made up of Special Forces Instructors who use their vast knowledge and ‘real world’ experience to teach civilian members. Z.E.R.T.’s Cadre has also trained over 100 state and federal officers in 4 states. Z.E.R.T. offers a variety of basic to advanced marksmanship, tactics, and survival courses.
The instructor for this upcoming class is K.G., who has has over nineteen years of active duty service in the United States Army serving in Infantry, Airborne and Special Operations units. As a primary instructor, K.G. has led and developed full spectrum training programs in support of Special Operations in over a dozen countries.
