2 Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies wounded in shooting, suspect at large

Authorities in California said two Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies were wounded in a shooting Thursday night and a manhunt is on for the suspect or suspects..

(FOX)- The Los Angeles Times reported that the shooting occurred at about 10:50 p.m. in the Los Angeles suburb of Bellflower. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that both officers were transported to a hospital and are in fair condition.

Authorities haven’t released any more information about the incident.

The newspaper reported that a manhunt for a suspect or suspects was underway along Lakewood Boulevard between Alondra Boulevard and Flower Street, as of 11:50 p.m. Authorities were advising the public to avoid the area.
