Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore wouldn’t point a gun at law enforcement — only Bureau of Land Management agents
(NYDailyNews)- Gun-toting Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore is taking aim at Bureau of Land Management agents who manage federal lands.
“If I have a rogue agent who literally has a history of death in his past, and if that man ever pointed a gun at me, I’d point right back, because his intentions are evil,” Fiore told ABC affiliate KTNV-TV Monday.
The Second Amendment-flaunting Fiore — who gained national attention for her support of this year’s Oregon militia occupation, as well as gun-themed calendars and Christmas cards — discussed citizens’ rights to point a weapon at officers in a recent interview, but clarified to KTNV-TV that she was only referring to BLM, not police personnel.
“They are wannabe cops, untrained, and rogue agents. The BLM is nothing more than a bureaucratic agency of terrorism that terrorize Americans, especially ranchers,” she said.
Bureau of Land Management officials declined to comment about Fiore’s statements.
