Wisconsin police continued the search Monday for anyone involved in the fatal shooting of a teenager and a van driver who struck and killed a 2-year-old toddler in Milwaukee a day earlier.
Authorities say the toddler ran into the street and was struck about 5 p.m. Sunday on Milwaukee’s northwest side.
The 41-year-old van driver was shot and killed at the scene after stopping his vehicle, according to police. A 15-year-old boy who was also at the scene was shot and died later at a hospital. It’s not clear why the teen was shot.
Police have not identified any of the people killed Sunday, but a man who said he is the driver’s father identified him as Archie Brown Jr. of Milwaukee. Archie Brown Sr. told the Journal Sentinel that his son had four daughters, including one who is 6 months old.
