After anti-gun activists in the media predictably blamed the gun for a mass shooting in his city over the weekend, Jacksonville, Florida’s senior law enforcement official blew the whistle and declared the obvious.
People have never been killed by firearms. People with wicked intentions abuse them to carry out their heinous crimes.
People also kill using automobiles, hand tools, knives, and their own arms and legs.
When the ultimate goal of the left is to abolish firearms, none of these fatalities are convenient, thus what happened in Jacksonville on Saturday is being exploited to support the anti-gun lobby’s agenda.
According to authorities, a crazed man entered a Dollar General in the city on Saturday with the purpose of murdering people based on their skin color.
Officers claimed Ryan Palmeter, a 21-year-old white guy, set out his hatred philosophy in a manifesto, much of which was promptly made public.
According to Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters, the suspect shot and killed Anolt Laguerre Jr., 19, Jerrald De’Shaun Gallion, 29, and Angela Carr, 52.
Palmeter then pulled the trigger on himself.
While America waits to read the ranting of a transgender gunman who targeted children in Nashville, Tennessee, earlier this year, murdering three of them as well as three adults, the Florida shooter’s rants against black Americans are available and have been linked to his motivation.
“Finely put: This shooting was racially motivated, and he hated black people,” Waters told reporters Sunday. “He knew what he was doing. He was 100 percent lucid.”
The sheriff was also questioned about the gun used by the alleged killer to carry out his nefarious plan.
He didn’t want the media to blame the firearm, which he claimed was sold legally to the gunman.
“The story is always about guns,” Waters said. “People are bad. This guy’s a bad guy. If I could take my gun off right now, and I lay it on this counter, nothing will happen. It’ll sit there.
“But as soon as a wicked person grabs ahold of that handgun and starts shooting people with it, there’s the problem.
“The problem is the individual.”
Last month, mass stabbings wreaked havoc on a Chinese metropolis and a Maryland county.
Sharp things were not blamed.
Earlier this month, a guy purposefully ran over five of them with his automobile before getting out and stabbing nine others in Seoul, South Korea.
Nobody pointed the finger at the automobile or the knife.
People with warped hearts and minds will commit evil by any means necessary. People motivated by politics only blame the weapon when it is used to kill, not the person who held it.
Only a highly disturbed person would plot and carry out a mass murder of strangers.
In 2018, a nurse in South Carolina admitted to killing her husband by putting over-the-counter eye drops in a glass of water and watching him drink it.
CBS News reported Lana Clayton told investigators of her husband, Steve Clayton, “I just wanted him to just — I just wanted him to suffer.”
Following Clayton’s arrest and conviction, the prejudiced corporate media never advocated for eye drop control.
These folks want a utopian society free of firearms and would brazenly politicize the deaths of innocent people to get there.
Williams was not going to let them get away with it.
More law enforcement professionals like the sheriff are needed in America to bring out the obvious, which is that certain people are simply possessed by evil.
A crazy and murderous person who does not have access to a handgun will find a means to kill an innocent life, even if it just costs a few dollars for eye drops.
