This is a follow up piece that I am doing on my article Not So Soft. I was so impressed by my interview of Matt and the crew at The Battlegrounds, that I geared up and went out! Here is how it went down.

The experience was more than eye opening. I haven’t felt a rush like this in a LONG time! The teamwork required, physical endurance and honor shown is beyond compare. The Battlegrounds has much much more in store as well. Video games, Pool tables, Magic the Gathering, concessions, and more. This place isn’t just guys gearing up and playing wannabe soldier. This is a family environment. Men, Women, Mothers, Fathers, Kids and Teenagers can find haven and stress relief in this Mecca of Recreation!
I am so impressed with the vision of a healthy and safe place for kids and families to hang out at, that I accepted Matt’s offer and am now the Manager of the facility. Come down and see us.We are having Magic the Gathering competitions, LAN parties, and gaming competitions in the very near future too!
