Laforest Duron Gray Jr live streamed a shootout with deputies to instagram after beating his wife. Gray drew a silver .38 revolver and fired the first shots toward the officer. He is being charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer with a firearm and one count each of resisting an officer with violence, burglary of a conveyance with battery and domestic violence battery. If found guilty faces life in prison.

According to WESH Deputies said Gray was beating the woman and dragging her into the road by her hair before they arrived.
In video of the incident, which Gray live streamed on Instagram, he can be heard yelling at the woman to “come here.”
When deputies arrived, they said Gray was barricaded behind a car in an open garage and refused to come out and show his hands or follow any of their commands.
During the video Gray can be heard cursing at deputies while they were yelling commands at him. At one point in the video, Gray turns the camera toward him and speaks to people watching. “Y’all finna see this [expletive] live, bro. I’ll take one for the team, yo,” he said.
