A couple months ago T.J. Kirgin HMFIC of TacticalShit was approached by Time Magazine and asked to posted a video to Facebook live discussing a project with Time magazine and nearly 248 other individuals covering Guns In America. This project Brought together by a french muralists @jr and covered points of view from both sides of the discussion and allowed them to have their say. The exhibit will travel the country as an 18ft video mural. If you visit Times website you can click on each person and hear their story. As you can imagine some people were a bit hesitant to talk to time with concerns that their words would be changed.
“I think I speak for a lot of people when I say a lot of us were concerned that time was going to edit our words. They assured us that they wouldn’t and they lived up to their promise”
T.J. was approached by a writer from Time asking if he wanted to participate in the project and requested to bring as many guns as he could.
As you can imagine he went to work to verify if this person was legitimate.
A few days later T.J. was approached by two other very influential competitive shooters at the Lucas Oil PCC Corinne Mosher and Diana Muller, asking if he was going to be a part of Times project
After stating that in fact he was even if Time did twist his words any PR is good PR
Dianna Muller said she was going because she wasn’t going to let him represent the Firearms Community by himself.
Security at the Photo shoot was over the top. The participants signed a contract stating that time could edit their words however they pleased though again reassured everyone their words would not be twisted or misconstrued The photos were shot in a green room. Each individual posed with their firearms in a variety of positions.
After the photo shoot each individual participated in a 3 min audio session in which they were able to talk about the gun issue in america. Some were even invited to shoot a video session.
The reason T.J. is looking down at his firearm is originally he was going to be at the table disassembling and reassembling his firearm. However, this didn’t work and is instead unscrewing the suppressor.

After all was said and done. The HMFIC had this to say on his instagram
@jr lived up to his word and delivered an art project at a magazine feature that brings both sides of this discussion together and allows us to speak our minds without interruptions from opposing views.
We urge each and everyone of you to visits Times page and click on every one of the 248 people and listen to their story.
If not just click on the people he mentioned on the Instagram post and then click on some of the other folks that appear to be in opposition and let your mind open a bit.
