Machine Gun America, or MGA located less than 30 minutes from Disney, is one of the hidden gems of tourist Central Florida. Providing to the everyday person, a chance that few red blooded Americans get to enjoy. The thrill of shooting EXOTIC and Full Auto FIREARMS. In addition to the full auto fun they also offer a SIRT laser range where guests can enjoy realistic shooting scenarios, and challenge each other to see who is the top shot.
Upon entering the front doors you will be greeted by the friendly staff. When you pick out your favorite firearm you can rest assured that you will be taken out and instructed by the veteran and LEO range staff. After your shoot, you can ALSO get your picture taken to brag to your friends how awesome of a time you had.
Lets however, take a closer look at MGA, beneath the surface of just a tourist attraction… What are they REALLY bringing to the table? Orlando is almost RUN by Disney, so much so that if you are staying in one of their hotels and try to look up MGA it comes up blocked. The reason why is guns. In fact when the Pulse Night club shooting happened, the radio stations PULLED MGA’s ads off their stations. In Response MGA offered FREE CCW courses to EVERYONE, to help people understand firearms and provide to them a defense, and to prevent another shooting like that. Due however to their location, stories like THAT were never told. Company’s like MGA bring the fun of firearms out of the dark corners, and into the light. Showing people that GUNS aren’t scary, and if used responsibly, can be a fun and enjoyable memory for the whole family.
For MGA, a pro 2A company to be living under the shadow of the mouse is more a war to survive. They keep fighting however, bringing a huge arsenal of firearms, a fun environment, and the pure giggles one gets from going full auto.
