HOUSTON – Houston police say there is a possible active shooter situation in southwest Houston where two police officers were injured earlier.
They are telling residents in the 8700 block of Sterlingame to stay inside and take cover, according to KHOU 11 News reporter Drew Karedes.
Two Houston police officers were injured around 12:30 p.m. after responding to the a crime scene.
HPD tweeted that it was an officer-involved shooting but it’s not clear if the officers were shot or injured some other way.
