Officer Juan Wilson, posted this Nov. 23rd and became an overnight viral sensation. Juan, is a municipal police officer in the state of Missouri where he was detached in to DEA and worked tirelessly to fight the scourge of heroin and pill abuse. Whenever there was a Heroin overdose death in the St. Louis area, Juan could be found consoling parents, and fighting hard to prevent the next one. On top of this Juan also made time to talk in almost every school in the area, and warn kids about the dangers of drug abuse.
SEND ME
On November 23, 2016, I uploaded a video on Facebook simply what I called “Send Me”. Brave first responders, men and women, were losing their lives to murder and suicide at a rapid pace. Being a first responder myself, I couldn’t help but feel each loss reported on the news or on social media. Several people began to ask me why would anyone want to be first responder with the current events. My answer manifested itself in the form of the video “Send Me”. It gave me an opportunity to use my voice and to answer that question. It also gave me an opportunity to let other first responders know that they have support.
1.4 million views later, “Send Me” became a message for first responders all around the world. I wanted to create a platform for everyone to continue to spread that message of bravery, selflessness, and support. The “Send Me” shirt is one of those platforms.
We held a pre-order run for these shirts in January and the support was so overwhelming, we decided to do a second pre-order and added a version for our EMS and Military families. This pre-order will run from 2-1-17 until 2-15-17. Shirts will be printed and shipped within 10 days of the end of the pre-order sale. *A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Humanizing the Badge’s collaboration with the Free Hugs Project for Project Human: Detroit.

To be a facilitator and resource in communities across the country. Raising awareness, advocating, and giving to causes that focus on tough topics including addiction, drug endangered children, our veteran communities, homelessness, childhood cancer, and relationships between law enforcement and the community are just a few of our passions.
We’ve just begun with the online store and have some hefty goals. But we want to be able to reach people and be a resource, while also being a source of support for other groups doing the same.
