Disgraced former Subway spokesman imprisoned for child pornography and sex abuse is suing the parents of one of his victims saying they are at fault for the girl’s “destructive behaviors.”
(FOX)- The victim was a subject in some of the child pornography in Jared Fogle’s criminal case and filed a lawsuit against him in March seeking monetary damages for, among other things, personal injury and emotional distress.
Fogle fired back Thursday by filing his own suit against the parents claiming they were at fault for their daughter’s depression. The motion argues that the parents may be responsible for the girl’s injuries alleged in a civil lawsuit against him.
In the suit obtained by People, Fogle claims the girl’s parents “through their actions, caused or significantly contributed to the injuries and damages alleged by Jane Doe in her Complaint against the Defendants.”
Fogle is currently serving more than 15 years in a federal prison.
