Dallas officers in active firefight with shooter, firefighter shot.
Update –
Authorities say a Dallas paramedic has been shot while responding to a shooting call and that the scene remains active.
The City of Dallas released a statement Monday saying officers were responding to a shooting around 11:30 a.m. when a Dallas Fire-Rescue EMT Unit was struck. The city says a paramedic was hit, transported to Baylor Hospital and is undergoing surgery.

Dallas police say a firefighter has been shot and is being transported to a local hospital.
Dozens of police vehicles are swarming a residential neighborhood near Interstate 30. The Dallas Police Department tweeted that a member of Dallas Fire Rescue had been shot, but no details about the circumstances have been confirmed.
DALLAS (KXAN) — Law enforcement in Dallas are engaged with an active shooter and a firefighter has been shot, authorities say.
According to KXAS, the scene is active in the 3200 block of Reynolds Avenue in East Dallas, Monday afternoon.
There is another active shooter in Dallas. This time a fireman has been shot, and officers are pinned down by gunfire. Please pray!

The Dallas Police Association said on Twitter a firefighter has been shot, but the firefighter’s condition is unknown. It’s unknown how many officers are involved; dozens of police cars are at the scene.
