Just minutes ago Franklin Armory Gave us ALL at shot show the first look at the Reformation, and we were stunned.
How the Reformation is skirting the ATF guidelines is amazing and to put it to a simply, the devil is in the details.

Franklin Armory took a unique approach to solve the problem of a “shortish” rifle that would require no tax stamp in certain areas or to give shooters who cross state lines an easy option to take their rifles with them by adapting straight-cut lands and grooves. That means that the barrel imparts no spin on the projectile. According to ATF’s tech branch, this means that the Reformation is “not a rifle”.
Now the first question on everyones mind is is it accurate, well that is where there is debate. The rifle is set up for CQB meaning that it’s 3 to 4 MOA is perfectly acceptable in that distance. Right now it’s chambered in 5.56 but the big market picture will be the 300 blk out market.
Now they are claiming that their proprietary ammo which looks kind of like a Flechette round will help that MOA number drop, but there is still work being done, and still tweaks are being made. Regardless of all this Franklin Armory has flipped the firearm community on its head with this amazing design and innovation
