According to Atlas.news

The United Kingdom, United States, and Canada have accused Russia of launching a cyber attack health and research centers in the UK that are trying to develop a COVID-19 vaccine. While it is unclear if any information or data was stolen, UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) confirmed that work was not delayed because of the hacking. The NCSC released a statement saying “APT29’s (also known as Cozy Bear) campaign of malicious activity is ongoing, predominantly against government, diplomatic, think tank, healthcare and energy targets to steal valuable intellectual property.” Russia has denied the claims, with presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov telling Tass “We do not have information about who may have hacked into pharmaceutical companies and research centres in Great Britain. We can say one thing – Russia has nothing at all to do with these attempts.”
