However, Pakistan denies this, saying it operates against the terror group. Saeed faces four more charges related to terror financing. The sentencing conveniently comes just a week before the watchdog group Financial Action Task Force (FATF) decides whether it should blacklist Pakistan over failure to curb terrorism financing.
