There are times as a writer when I get to meet and interview amazing people. Then are times I get to interview someone, look over to other writers and say “Ha Ha Ha! You SUCK!”

Come on! It’s Morgan Reese! For those of you who don’t know, Morgan Reese is a model that stands out from a crowd. From Trade shows to Playboy, Morgan has done it all! An avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment and Servicemen and Woman, Morgan knows her firearms. She would say that she is just an enthusiast. Well Morgan, I know seasoned shooters that don’t know half of what you know about firearms.

So here is the Amazing interview gang, enjoy!

Spike- What got you involved in shooting?

Morgan- I’m from Texas, any more questions?? No, I have two older brothers so I was raised a tomboy. I have had friends and family in the Military, as well as gun enthusiasts who I would join for casual range time.. I was naturally a pretty good shooter and enjoyed the instant gratification of a well placed shot. It has grown from there… I’m not a professional mind you, I am an enthusiast who loves this as a hobby. I believe in personal protection, safety, and firmly believe anyone considering using a weapon for protection should drill and train with it inside the home once the weapon has been cleared and safe, but otherwise, I’m just a “Plinker”

Spike- What is your opinion on the stereo-type of “gun-owners”

Morgan- Who’s opinion?? The liberal medias?? Like I said, I’m from Texas. My TV doesn’t tune to that channel, I know what you mean. The Gun culture and manufacturers are primarily portrayed on the 6 o’clock news or Liberal agenda’s, and it looks pretty crappy I agree… It is what it is. It bothers me at times, but I know better and I know that the true gun culture consists of all types…. You can’t say it’s any one demographic because I see folks at my range and throughout the Gun culture of all ages, genders, race, income brackets, etc… I’m sure many are sporting arm owners, hobbyist’s, self protection enthusiasts, and hunters. But they won’t make it on the news unless they do something dumb.. I will say this.. We, as gun enthusiasts, all know our Rights. We really need those who don’t recognize our rights to let down their guard and pick up a gun and catch the fun gun fever and get comfortable with our culture. I don’t like these guys who walk into restaurants, down streets, etc. with their AR strapped to their backs, just to prove a point. Its counter productive to the cause. It creates discomfort and fear. You have the right to come and scream obscenities in my face out in public too, but you don’t see too much of that. If I’m sitting in a Coffee Shop and strange men walk in with AR’s on their back, I understand why, and I know what point they want to try and get across, but that’s not the way to cross that bridge in my opinion.. You attract a lot more bees with honey that you do with sh*t….

Spike- Favorite weapon you have fired?

Morgan- My Mossberg.. I feel 10 feet tall when I rack it and I love the BOOM!! I love a shotgun…

Spike- Favorite weapon you own?

Morgan- My Glock… I love my AR and my SBR, but my G23 .40 is made FOR me.. Trigger work, mag and slide extensions, Trijicon night sights, and a “no quit, no fail” attitude.. I carry it IWB on a Versacarry clip.. I have a Sig SP2022 9mm also, but nothing beats my Glock.

Spike- What weapon do you want desperately?

Morgan- Tactical version LR308… I named the guns I own previously, but my last addition I’d like for now is something to reach out there with. I don’t have a specific long range weapon currently so that’s on my “wish list”

Spike- What is your opinion on the 2nd Amendment and Service men and women?

Morgan- Simple.. Without the 2nd Amendment, none of the other amendments would sustain through time and admins.. It’s like the “Sargent at arms” of the constitution. Men and Women of service, both Military and Public service are the lifeblood of this nation. Sure, there are those good and bad at their jobs, but as a collective whole, they should be honored and cherished. I post on my Morgan Reese Tactical Chick Facebook page all the time that everyone should skip buying a meal at a restaurant, or skip on the bar or movies once a month and contribute to causes like www.redcirclefoundation.org, a foundation offering cash relief to families of SF operators, sometimes within hours, to assist with expenses while the red tape is being worked through. There others like it that are Veteran owned and managed properly, but I believe we all should find one and contribute consistently.

Spike- Peanut butter Crunchy/Creamy?(joking)

Morgan- Creamy.

Spike- If you could only have one weapon, what would it be and why?

Morgan- My Glock… I can carry and protect myself and my home, as well as plink for fun.

Spike- What got you into modeling?

Morgan- A friend of mine actually set me up with a photographer in Texas and it’s been all downhill from there.. I’m not the typical model, and I’m open minded, so I can be versatile. I’ve done magazine, television, corps commercial, trade show and expo model, and live web hosting. I love it all…
